Yerevan – The Oldest Inhabited City in Armenia
Yerevan is known as the capital city of Armenia. It is also the largest city in Armenia. This city is famous as the industrial center and also administrative of the Armenia. Yerevan got the first independence by October Revolution in 1917. It became the capital city of Armenian on 21 September 1991.

When the best time to visit this city? We must check the climate first. Yerevan has humid continental arid climate and it gets influence from the mountain climate. It is better to come to this city on July until September and it is better to avoid January because it is the most freezing temperature in the year.

Yerevan, is one of the best place to visit or place to travel in Armenia. When you come to Yerevan, there are some tourism places that you can visit such as State Opera House, Cascade complex and some museums. For you who like to enjoy night life, you can find some famous bars, pubs, nightclubs, and restaurants there. You can bring your children to best zoo or park in Yerevan. You don’t need to worry because there are some best hotels to for you. There is Zvartnots International Airport. It is located 12 km from the city center. It serves national or domestic flight and international flight. For you who need other transportation, you can find bus, trolley bus, railway, underground, taxi and some other transportation.

When we talk about culture, Yerevan is famous as the multicultural city too. There are some people that coming from Iraq, Syria, Bulgaria, Iran, Greece, France and Turkey. The majority of citizens are apostolic Christian.
